How it’s delivered

Software layer, your infrastructure.

Software layer

You run the infrastructure

FabriCloud is the software that turns your cloud or data centre into a private data cloud. You keep ownership of the underlying compute and storage — and their bill.

Subscription

Platform, fully included

One subscription covers the control plane (managed or self-hosted), every data-plane service, all connectors and updates. No per-connector surprises.

Capacity-based

Scales the way you do

Pricing tracks capacity — data planes, environments and usage — so it grows with adoption instead of penalising you for connecting more sources.

Pricing

Priced like infrastructure.

FabriCloud deploys into your environment and is priced around capacity and support — a platform subscription, not a per-seat sign-up.

How it compares

Private data cloud vs the alternatives.

A fair comparison. Public data clouds and a build-it-yourself approach are both reasonable — for different situations.

Best whenData must stay in your controlYou’re fine with vendor-hosted dataYou have a large platform team

Public data clouds are excellent when you’re happy for your data to live in the vendor’s tenant — and you have ample time and a large budget. A DIY build can work with a large platform team, time and an appetite for risk. FabriCloud is for when data must stay in your environment and you want cloud-grade services on day one — controlled budget, immediate time to value.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is my data ever sent to FabriCloud?
No. The control plane operates on metadata and configuration only. The data plane runs entirely inside your own environment; raw data never crosses the boundary.
How is this different from a warehouse like Snowflake or BigQuery?
Those are public, multi-tenant clouds — you move data into the vendor’s environment. FabriCloud is a private data cloud that runs inside yours and processes data in place.
Do I have to define my semantic layer more than once?
No. The Knowledge Fabric extracts your schemas automatically and resolves them into one embedded semantic layer, inside your environment — not rebuilt per vendor.
Is FabriCloud related to Microsoft Fabric?
No. FabriCloud is an independent private data cloud, not a public analytics SaaS.
How long does it take to deploy?
A data plane stands up in hours via Terraform or Helm; connecting your first sources is typically same-day.
Can it run on-premise or air-gapped?
Yes — in your cloud, your VPC, or fully on-premise, including air-gapped, with the control plane self-hosted where required.
Does it work with AI agents?
Yes — FabriCloud is MCP-first. Governed datasets and tools are exposed to agents as native Model Context Protocol tools.
What about security and compliance?
SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, with encryption in transit and at rest, RBAC/ABAC, BYOK and immutable audit.
